Our Lend a Hand initiative has begun with the goal of raising funds to help the citizens of the Philippines get back on their feet after the devastating typhoon that hit their country last month.
When a donation is made a cut-out handprint is signed by the donor and it is then placed, along with the others, on the wall leading from the front office. The purpose of this is to show that, when we all join hands together, we are able to make a difference and help others.
There is no deadline for donations so keep them coming. Restoration will take a very long time and we need to keep helping even when the headlines in the newspapers are no longer focussed on the situation.
Let’s make our handprint chain stretch throughout the halls of our school to show that we care.
