The Argos come to McGregor!
On Tuesday April 30th, we had the privilege of hosting Jason Colero, Director, Education and Community Programs, Toronto Argonaut Football Club and Joe Eppele, #59, Offensive Linesman, Toronto Argonaut Football Club through the Toronto Argonauts Huddle Up Bullying Prevention program.
With support from the Canadian Safe School Network, the Huddle Up Program continues to inspire youth and empower them to take action towards bullying prevention in their schools.
A group of Grade 3 and 4 French and English students were chosen to participate in the Leadership Committee and met with Jason in February to discuss the action plan for McGregor. They worked diligently with Mr. Sinclair on a skit that they presented to the school and the Argos on Tuesday April 30th. They were then invited to participate at the Huddle Up Summit on Tuesday May 14th where schools from across Ontario presented their initiatives to each other.
Congratulations to all the students for all their hard work and effort in preventing bullying!
